Pickles, a Terrier cross, came to me from the DogsTrust Darlington in September 1996 aged approx 4 years old. Pickles was my first true dog, a dog I could officially call my own. He lived until he was 15 years old and inspite of him only having 7 teeth and quite a severe heart murmur in his later years, he was always a happy chappy. His most favourite thing was spending time in the garden in the summer months, away from evil Isla! Even at the age of 15 he still enjoyed going for regular walks during the day, woe betide you if you tried to leave him behind!
Pickles was always defined by his lack of talent in the brains department. He will always be the thickest dog I've ever owned, but he certainly made up for it in looks and personality. He loved everyone he came across and you could guarantee everyone he met would leave loving him. He was your typical lovable scruffy mutt and he is still very sadly missed.
